ALLISON PLOOR

ALLISON (Brandon, Florida) received her BFA in Ballet and Modern Dance from Texas Christian University. She was awarded the Nordan Fine Arts Scholarship and Jerry Bywaters Cochran Excellence in Modern Dance Award. While at TCU, she had the privilege of working with faculty and guest artists Leah Cox, Jin Wen Yu, Gus Solomons jr, and the late Fernando Bujones. She traveled with DanceTCU to Nagaoka, Japan performing a solo work and Mr. Bujones' Classical Reflection. Her early training included programs at Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, Sarasota Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Florida Dance and the American Dance Festivals. Allison also performs and teaches with BODYART.  She joined the VON HOWARD PROJECT in 2007.
